Collaborative Law:
Collaborative Law is a respectful way to resolve family law disputes without going to court. You and your spouse/partner each have a collaborative attorney but we all work together cooperatively to negotiate a settlement that works best for you and your children. Having a process that fosters goodwill rather than conflict, helps parties reach agreements without creating more animosity or negative feelings toward each other. This is especially important for people who have to continue to co-parent at the end of the dispute. The Collaborative Law process is also referred to as “no-court divorce,” divorce with dignity,” or “peaceful divorce.”
